Have you ever heard of the Jayhawks? I do not think they are available here on LMA, but their fan-run homepage (www.jayhawksfanpage.com)does have links to sites that trade their music. They are one of the originators of the altcountry scene, but very harmonically oriented, singer-song writer type music. In any case, more than one Deadhead has been known to pop in a CD of theirs on occasion. Cheers.

Steve Kimock & Fareed Haque, 2005-02-22.

Just really mellow and beautiful. Especially the SKB covers. Its the kind of thing you drink green tea to while listening, even though you prefer the black tea with milk and lots of sugar. Both guitarists are awesome, but Fareed really shines.

Is this 2-22-05 show on the archive? For some reason I couldn't find it. I did find the 7/2/05 show, which was excellent! Two of the most talented musicians I know doing what they do best.
